Shopify / ecommerce engineering / subscriptions / integrations

Ecommerce that works past the theme.

When your store needs more than visual tweaks, we can own the technical problem. Wynkoop Consulting builds and improves Shopify storefronts, subscription flows, custom integrations, backend workflows and the software surrounding ecommerce operations.

Talk about your store

What we do

Frontend, backend, and the messy middle.

A growing ecommerce business rarely has just a “website problem.” Product data, subscriptions, fulfillment, customer accounts, analytics, marketing tools, payments and internal operations all touch the storefront. We work across that whole system.

Shopify development

Custom storefront work, theme development, components, merchandising experiences and functionality that fits your brand instead of fighting it.

Subscription commerce

Recharge and subscription customer experiences, product flows, account behavior and the integrations needed behind the scenes.

Custom integrations

Connect Shopify to business systems, APIs, CRMs, fulfillment tools, reporting, customer data or proprietary workflows.

Custom ecommerce applications

Build the admin tool, product finder, customer workflow, data service or internal application your commerce platform does not provide.

Performance & troubleshooting

Track down slow storefronts, brittle integrations, broken customer flows and technical problems that bounce between vendors.

Ongoing technical ownership

A dependable engineering partner for launches, improvements, experiments and the inevitable edge cases after the agency handoff.

Where we fit

You do not need another app installed blindly.

Sometimes an app is exactly the right answer. Sometimes five apps and three workarounds are the reason the store is hard to operate. We can help decide what should be configured, integrated, customized or built.

  • Your team is fighting the platform. A core business workflow takes too many manual steps or does not fit the default Shopify model.
  • Your subscription experience is getting complicated. Recharge, customer accounts, product logic or migrations need engineering attention.
  • Your vendors keep pointing at each other. We can trace the problem across storefront, integration and backend boundaries.
  • You need custom functionality. A product finder, configurator, portal, dashboard, middleware service or internal tool can be built around the store.
  • You need someone technical who understands the business. We can operate as an embedded partner rather than just close tickets.

How we work

Fix what matters. Keep what works.

01 / Diagnose

Start with the revenue, customer or operational problem instead of assuming the answer is a rebuild.

02 / Design the path

Decide whether the right solution is configuration, theme work, an integration, a custom app or a larger architecture change.

03 / Ship safely

Build around a live business with appropriate staging, testing and incremental releases.

04 / Stay available

Continue with ongoing engineering and support when the store needs a technical partner who already knows the system.

FAQ

Ecommerce development questions.

Do you work with Shopify?

Yes. We work across Shopify storefront development, custom frontend work, integrations and custom systems built around Shopify.

Can you help with Recharge?

Yes. Subscription ecommerce often crosses storefront UX, product configuration, customer accounts, Recharge itself and external systems. We can work across those boundaries rather than treating each piece independently.

Do we have to rebuild our existing store?

No. Most stores benefit from targeted improvements before a rebuild. We can work inside the existing system, identify what is actually limiting the business and make focused changes.

Can you build custom tools around our store?

Yes. Internal dashboards, product workflows, data tools, middleware, customer portals and other custom software can sit alongside Shopify when the business needs something more specific.

Store growing past the easy answers?

Bring me the weird problem.

If the answer is obvious, you probably do not need a consultant. If it touches three systems and nobody owns the whole thing, that is usually where we are useful.
